Binzuru-Ichi Market

The Zenko-ji Binzuru-ichi Market (善光寺びんずる市) is held every month from April to November every second Saturday at Zenko-ji Temple. This started in 2013 when the 300th year of the Binzuru statue was celebrated. This market resembles a flea market in many ways, but it also offers some shops where people present their crafts.

It’s located right at Zenko-ji Temple, so you won’t miss it if you happen to be here during that time, but if you enjoy these sorts of markets, it would be nice to maybe adjust your traveling to visit the Binzuru-ichi Market.
