Kaleidoscope Workshop
Kaleidoscopes are not as popular now as they were a few decades ago, but here at Byakurenbo (白蓮坊), very close to Zenko-ji Temple, they sure bring new life to these things. Here you can participate in a workshop where you can make your own personalized kaleidoscope. You can make one that either changes the world around you, one with a unique color pattern and in a few different shapes and sizes. You can even attach them to the camera of your phone to make beautiful photos! The example photo is actually of the inside of the shop!! With one of these you will get more unique vacation photos than usual!
Depending on how quick you are, your workshop can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes.
