Yamanouchi's Firework Festival

Fireworks festivals are held all over Japan and the town of Yamanouchi, also known sometimes as the Snow Monkey Town, is no exception and has its own fireworks festival held every year on the second Sunday of October.

So if you happen to be staying in the Yamanouchi town during this time to visit the monkeys, onsen or the Shiga-kogen Highlands then be sure not to miss out on this event as it will surely make your stay even better.
